Franco Zotta

Franco Zotta is responsible for strategic development at the SMC. Since 2003, he has designed training and continuing education programs for science journalists in various foundation projects and developed and established the specialist science journalism conference WissensWerte. Before joining the SMC, he was managing director of the German Science Journalists’ Association (WPK). Franco Zotta studied philosophy in Münster and completed his traineeship at the daily newspaper taz in Bremen, where he also worked for several years as a culture editor.
