SMC Germany: a navigator

An actor has her breasts amputated. A researcher claims Alzheimer’s is contagious. An erupting volcano halts air travel.

Whenever the media have to decide how to rank scientific content amongst current affairs, when breaking science news causes a public stir, or dramatic science-related events have to be evaluated immediately – journalists are faced with a challenge: how and where can they find quick and reliable scientific expertise?
